Why I Started Unjunking
Hi, I’m Michelle Walker, a nutritionist, health educator, and mom who got tired of trying to make sense of confusing food labels and marketing claims.
With a background in biology, education, and health behavior, I became curious about why so many families were struggling with their health. The deeper I looked, the more I realized how difficult it has become to eat well in a food environment dominated by ultra-processed products.
I created Unjunk America to help families cut through the noise and bring real food back to their kitchens, without needing a science degree to figure it out.
My goal is simple: to make healthy eating feel practical, affordable, and doable for everyday families.
